Mission: Chapter III: The Hunt is On
Location: Miles and Mila Lynn's quarters, I.R.W. Ourainavassa
Timeline: 238702.06

Mila looked up at the clock on the wall of the dimly-lit lounge area of the suite she shared with her brother. Nearly 3.30 am. She sighed, and put down the book she had been reading - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She'd always enjoyed classical literature, and a vintage printed edition of the entire Harry Potter series, made some time in the early 2020s, was one of her most prized possessions. She must have read them at least a dozen times, and on nights like this, when sleep eluded her, she would grab some hot chocolate and sit for hours with her nose in one of the books. Just as she got up to get herself another drink, the door opened, and Miles came in, looking rather ruffled. He had left for his date with Sari at 1900, and she had not expected him to come back at all when he still hadn't returned after Midnight.

Had some fun?, she signed at her brother, with a teasing smirk. With a smile on his face, Miles simply nodded. Oh hell yes. She's an amazing girl. We are going out again tonight.

Mila grinned. Good job, hotshot. Why didn't you spend the night?

Miles shrugged. Her bed's too small for two people to sleep in comfortably, and I didn't want to bring her back here and disturb you.

His sister chuckled. That hasn't stopped you in the past. Besides, forget I'm deaf or what? So then, tell me, how was it? She grabbed two hot chocolates from the replicator and sat back on the couch, patting the seat next to her. Miles looked tired, so she turned on her implant so he could tell the story out loud. "Well," he began...

When I got to the airlock, she wasn't there yet, but I didn't have to wait long. And let me tell you, she looked stunning. Her olive green skin, her emerald eyes, that short auburn hair. She'd put on this gorgeous flowery dress, too. And kissed me as a greeting, so I knew I was in for a good night. We went to that restaurant you recommended, they had Italian food tonight. A few drinks, some pizzas, and she told me all about herself. Did you know she had trained as an engineer on Qo'nos, with the KDF? Turns out the Orions have a close cooperation with the Klingons, and many of them serve on Klingon ships nowadays. But she found military life to be too constraining for her, so when she finished her training, she left and became a mercenary. We're actually the first ship she hired onto.

After dinner, we went to the cinema, and watched Shaun of the Dead. With your love for old Earth stories, I think you'd love it. It's about an undead horde turning up in this little city, and the main character and his friends barricade themselves in a pub to try and survive it. Really funny stuff. During the movie, she was cuddled up close to me, and afterwards we went to the main bar for a few more drinks. Orions don't really get drunk, but she did get very touchy, heh. So, when we got back to the ship, she dragged me to her quarters. Told me then and there that she was a virgin, and that she wanted me to be her first, right now.

Well, we started making out, and went inside, where she immediately dropped her dress. She was completely naked underneath, no underwear or anything, would you believe it. Anyway, she pulled me onto the bed and we got busy. It was clear that she had little clue what she was actually doing, but hell, that girl has some talent. We cuddled for a while afterwards, and made plans for tonight, we're going back to the same restaurant. No movie tonight though. She was falling asleep by then, and I tried to get comfortable with her, but the single bunk just didn't have enough room, so I got up, got dressed, and went home.

"And that's about it, really," Miles concluded, with a grin on his face. Mila gave him a friendly punch in the shoulder. "See, told you she'd be all over you. Nice one. Just bring her back here tonight, you know I don't mind. You have to introduce her to me properly anyway."

Her brother smirked at Mila. "If you say so. But don't be surprised if it gets a bit loud, she's a bit of a screamer."

Mila shook her head and pointed at her ears. D-E-A-F she spelled out in sign language. "Why do you keep forgetting?" she added out loud, bursting into laughter.

"Yeah yeah, fine. We have to hook you up with someone, too, now!" Miles' face became a little mischievous.

His sister again shook her head. "You know me, I'm happy on my own."

"No, no. I'm not letting my sister spend her whole life as a virgin."

Mila rolled her eyes. "Oh, wait, you don't know, do you. That's already been taken care of."

Miles was shocked. "Wait, what? When? How? Who?"

"Remember that boy James we met at that racing tournament on Kantaros?"

"You...him?" Miles was at a loss for words.

His sister giggled. "Yep. When you were off on that four-day rally race thing. We didn't really do much else than fuck." She laughed. "He was fun. And he had quite a nice torpedo. Good size."

Miles held up his hand to stop her. He did not want to hear any more details. "My innocent little sister is not nearly as innocent as I thought. I am shocked." He put down his empty mug. "Anyway. Boss wants me on the bridge bright and early, so I'm off to bed. Don't go picking up any more action while I sleep, okay?"

"Yes, dad," Mila replied with a chuckle as she picked up her book again. "I'll be a good girl, promised. Good night!"
